Cirque Trackpad Development Kit Part Correction
A certain number of Cirque Trackpad Development Kits may have shipped with the incorrect 35mm trackpad. This trackpad uses a different touch ASIC and is not compatible with the development kit.
This page provides details to determine if your kit is affected, and how to get a replacement.
Determine if your kit is affected
Check the smaller 35mm circle trackpad using the image below. Make sure that your trackpad matches the correct image and the ASIC ID number is: 1CA027
NOTE: The sample correct part shows a sticker on the ASIC. This may or may not be present on actual parts.
If the trackpad in your kit matches the "wrong" picture with an ASIC ID number of 1CA037 we will send you a replacement part at no charge. You are welcome to keep or discard the incorrect 35mm trackpad.
