Digital Marketing & Video Coordinator

Cirque, the original inventor of capacitive touch solutions, is seeking a marketing professional to join our team. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Cirque is 45 minutes from some of the best skiing in the world and hours from 5 National Parks. Job Summary:

This position will take charge of marketing communication for Cirque products. This will involve creating content across a wide variety of communication channels, such as video, web, press releases, presentations, etc. This position works closely with the marketing and sales teams during this process to develop messaging and strategy for promoting Cirque solutions and products. 

Cirque is also engaged with our parent company, Alps Electric, to develop video content for promoting Alps products in English language markets, and this position will coordinate with Alps HQ in Japan on creation of video content for these products.  

The right candidate will have experience in video production, marketing communication, messaging strategy and be a skilled writer with stellar attention to detail. 

Cirque is involved in a highly technical industry, so a candidate with experience in a technology field (software development, electrical design, tech writing for semiconductors, etc.) or a tech savvy person who is willing to learn the nitty gritty details is highly desirable. We are looking for the right combination of technical know-how, plus excellent visual design, writing skills and team player attitude. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop messaging that drives home the value proposition of our solutions, and then communicate this message by owning MarCom generation from initial concept through design and final release.
    • Video content (product overviews, tradeshow reports, use case examples, etc.)
    • Web site content and design
    • News releases
    • Sales collateral such as presentation material, brochures, product documentation, etc. 
  • Maintain and grow Cirque’s web presence, including search engine optimization efforts and social media marketing efforts (especially YouTube and video related).
  • Develop and own a schedule for marketing promotional releases in alignment with the product development roadmap. 
  • Assist the marketing and sales teams with regular promotional efforts such as tradeshows, customer visits and other promotional events.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to generate original creative concepts and execute to completion. Please be prepared to show a portfolio of video and visual design work.   
  • Video production and NLE experience (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, etc.) is required. 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office required. 
  • After Effects or other motion graphics generation skills highly desirable. 
  • Web & social media marketing experience is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent visual and verbal presentation skills. 
  • Attention to detail is a critical element of this position.
  • Must be team player, experienced working with multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Must be highly motivated, organized and eager to dive into learning new things. 

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as:
    • Marketing 
    • Communications
    • Video / Film
    • Graphic Design 
  • Candidates lacking a degree but that can demonstrate high quality work portfolio and the right skills will also be considered.
