GlideTouch mutual capacitance technology provides a touch panel POS solution that has been independently tested and shown to be compliant with PCI 2.0 data security requirements if implemented in a PED.
Intruding bug attacks can not interpret usable data from the sensor grid electrodes nor any connection from the sensor panel to the Pinnacle controller. Security meshes and other protective measures are not necessary to protect these connections.
GlideTouch sensor touch panels use a proprietary balanced electrode design. As contrasted to other capacitive touch solutions, GlideTouch can detect the presence of potential attacks directly on the touch surface and automatically render the system non-functional.
