Cirque Wins Work/Life Balance Award for Three Years in a Row.

Cirque Corporation again receives award recognizing the best places to work in Utah.



Cirque Corporation, a subsidiary of ALPS Electric, has received the 2010 Work/Life Balance Award (micro category) from the State of Utah Department of Workforce Services. The marks the third year in a row Cirque has been selected to receive the award which honors companies that create exceptional workplaces and emphasize a strong balance between work/life needs.

Cirque is one of the leading high tech companies in Utah, and the original inventor of capacitive touch input technology that is found in notebook computers, mobile phones, consumer electronics and more. “Maintaining a top team of engineering and business professionals is critical to our success, and ensuring proper work/life balance and a positive work environment is just one way we accomplish this”, says Anna Williamson, Chief Financial Officer.

In the past year Cirque expanded their employee wellness program. Now, in addition to a credit for gym memberships and fitness equipment, Cirque holds an annual wellness fair offering free health checks and advice. On-site personal training is available to craft wellness programs for employees and each employee also enjoys free massages every quarter.  

Cirque maintains an open work environment encouraging innovation. Every month the company hosts a lunch to discuss current business, answer questions and foster discussion.
